Please contact Laura Gray via the contact form (the bottom of the home page) about any of these trips in which you might be interested, so they can be planned sensibly and you can receive the necessary information as soon as it becomes becomes available. Some may be very popular.

17–27 January: Sicily (hotel stays in Palermo, Agrigento and Siracusa; visits to Cefalù,
Segesta, Selinunte, the Villa Romana del Casale, and Noto). Lecturers: Agnes Crawford and Steve
Kershaw (N.B. flights to Palermo not showing yet, so dates could change by one night on
either end)


2–7 March: Beyond Rome : Palaces, sacred woods and Etruscan sites in northern Lazio and
southern Tuscany. Lecturer: Agnes Crawford


14–19 April: Bergamo and the Brera. We will be based in Bergamo, an attractive hilltop city, with an excellent art gallery, the Accademia Carrara, and make a visit to Milan’s magnificent Brera. Lecturer: Alexandra

14–18 October: Mantova The delightful city of Mantova will be our home for four nights. We will enjoy Mantegna’s Stanza degli Sposi in the Palazzo Ducale, Giulio Romano’s Palazzo Te, and make a day-trip to Sabbioneta, the Ideal City. Lecturer: Alexandra Lawrence
