In order of frequency, below are the cities and centres visited by Learn Italy groups since the first holiday in September 2002.

Florence: every odd year since 2003; sometimes in the even years too, and in some years twice (seventeen study weeks)

Venice: every even year since 2004; occasionally in odd years too (ten study weeks)

Rome: eight times since 2005

Siena: seven times since 2004

Montalcino (for Etruscans, reading groups, and Italian language), Ravenna: five times

Città di Castello (paintings of Piero della Francesca), Padua, Sicily (Palermo, Agrigento, Siracusa): four times

The following cities twice each: Amsterdam, Bologna, Genoa, Lucca, Parma, Perugia, Sorrento (for Pompeii, Herculaneum, Naples, Paestum), Verona

Once only so far: Bergamo, Ferrara, Mantua, Milan, Recanati (paintings of Lorenzo Lotto), Riccione (for Ascoli Piceno, Urbino), Udine, Vicenza, Viterbo
