The context of the comment below needs some explanation. In October 2019 a group attended the Verdi Festival in Parma and when on our way home I gave out questionnaires, and I remarked that I was hoping to set up this website, and if anyone wanted to write anything nice about the trip, it might finish up online. After twenty-five study trips with Learn Italy over fourteen years, I have never been disappointed. On the contrary I never fail to delighted, enthused and stimulated by the high standard of lecturers and guides, by the quality of hotels and restaurants and by the scrupulous care and attention paid to ensuring the enjoyment, welfare and comfort of all participants.
